Indiana dunes maternity | Cozy in home newborn session

We’ve known Amber & Jake for a few years now; we had the privilege of capturing their engagement and elopement photos. When they reached out to us for maternity and newborn photos we felt absolutely honored. Amber wore her pregnancy beautifully. The northwest Indiana dunes were the perfect backdrop for documenting Amber & Jake’s journey into parenthood. The overcast clouds worked together with the waves of Lake Michigan to create images you can feel.

Just a few weeks later, we got the message that their little Lee was born. Kaitlyn made the trip to their Northern Illinois home to meet Lee for the first time. Their dogs were a big part of their in-home engagement photos so she decided to include them as well. Lee added joy and so much love to their home. It’s the best feeling in the world getting to watch a couple get married, become parents, and embark on so many life changes together. Jake & Amber rock their new role as Mom and Dad.
