Downtown Indy Documentary Engagement Session | Tim & Nicha

Indianapolis is a special city for Tim + Nicha. After both graduating with a PhD in piano, it’s where they decided to start a life together. Little did they know they’d be working at the same place!

We started at Monument Circle, just outside of the Hilbert Circle Theater, where both of them work for the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. The architecture and cityscapes were the perfect backdrop for them. Even though we were surrounded by the fast paced movement of the city, it felt like Tim & Nicha were the only ones there.

Next, we headed to Spoke & Steele, the restaurant where their first date took place. Sitting together in the warm glow, it felt like stepping into a moment from the past—one still alive and full of love. Except this time we discovered hidden doors and secret rooms which made it a pretty special experience.

Our final stop was Bottleworks Hotel, where history and romance met. The string lights made it the most romantic place to head to as dusk was setting in.
