Michigan City Beach Family Photography | Lake Michigan Sunrise & Sunset on the Farm

The Mashburn family woke up at 3:00am and drove an hour and a half to Washington Park & Beach to welcome the sun as it rose over Lake Michigan. Zandra, Honor, and Maverick were all ecstatic to spend time at the beach with Mom and Dad. The air was cool, the breeze was perfect, and the sweetness of family was almost tangible. This was true rest for the soul. From the beach, to breakfast, to nap time, every moment was precious. Later that afternoon we drove out of town a little bit to continue the adventure on a farm south of Michigan City. This setting was a little out of the ordinary for Jessica and the three kids considering they’ve spent most of their life in the city. Mark, however, grew up on a ranch in Idaho and felt right at home. Farm life was in full bloom . The day ended with the girls swinging from the makeshift swing and Daddy taking each one of his little ones on a ride on the four-wheeler. Hearts were full and souls were satisfied. It was a day well spent.
